While in the Marine Corps, I was making $2K–$3K a month—not nearly enough. After getting out, I became a car salesman and made $6K–$10K, but I was working nonstop and barely saw my family. When my daughter was born, I knew I had to make a change.
That’s when I found Airbnb—and discovered the power of entrepreneurship: being my own boss, setting my own schedule, and building my dream instead of someone else’s.
I achieved Superhost status in my very first month and went on to generate $20,000 in revenue in a single month—from just one property. I specialized in managing large Airbnb homes with four or more bedrooms and maintained Superhost status for an entire year.
That first year was filled with trial and error, and I had no mentor to guide me—but I pushed through and figured it out.
Airbnb was the perfect stepping stone into real estate. If I could profit from managing someone else’s property, I knew owning my own would build real wealth—passive income and long-term appreciation.
Being a Superhost is all about great service. With my military background, professionalism and courtesy came naturally, making the transition smooth.
I nearly got kicked out of the military over a dumb mistake, became a dad at 23 while still in college studying criminal justice, and realized the cop route was too slow—I needed money fast.
I jumped into car sales, made good money, but barely saw my family. So I took a risk and tried Airbnb. That first year was rough—full of trial and error—but I stuck with it.
Now I run a company managing 14 properties, generating $30K–$40K a month. What once felt impossible is now my reality.
